Videx GSM sets are the perfect tool for busy families who may get unscheduled calls at the door or gate. Perhaps you do your shopping oline and need to tell the delivery driver where to leave a parcel. The intercom may have a single button, but it can call 5 phone numbers in a logical order. If it doesn't get you, it will call your partner, then a landline, maybe and office number.

The GSM intercom is also an access controller. When you ring the SIM card number, it can unlock the door or gate, a feature we call dial to enter.

Videx have a GSM set in each of the popular panel formats. Wiring is very simple. It requires 12Vdc from the power supply included with the set and to connect the antenna supplied. GSM intercoms make a call on the mobile phone service network. You will need to get a PAYG or contract SIM card to slide into the GSM module, and that is it. The GSM module has relay outputs for unlocking a door or opening a gate. We can provide a suitable wiring diagram for gate panel connection

Whether it is a single house or a an apartment block, GSM offers great flexibility and economy.  Fitting a multi-core cable to every apartment in a block is a mamoth task. Let the mobile phone network do the job for you. Of course there are some areas with poor signal, but not in dense population areas. Houses in the country are more difficult, but the home owner usually knows the best network that operates in his location.
